Privacy
Last updated 19 September 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this site or write to us. It is short, because we collect very little.
01The short version
- We set no cookies and we run no analytics.
- Browsing this site sends nothing to us. There is no form that posts to us and no database behind it.
- If you email us, we hold your message and your address until we no longer need them.
- The map of Le Guépard is loaded from Google, which can see your IP address when the page opens.
02Who is responsible
Stitches for Hope is a handmade bag brand based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We decide how your information is used, which makes us responsible for it.
Write to salma@sstitches.ae about anything in this policy.
03What happens when you browse
This site is a set of static files. There is no account, no cart and no database.
We set no cookies. We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels.
Our fonts are served from our own domain rather than from Google, so opening a page does not tell Google that you were here.
04Server records
This site is hosted by Vercel and served through Cloudflare. Like any web server, theirs keep records of the requests they handle.
Those records can include your IP address, the page you asked for, the time of the request and the browser you used. They exist to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
We do not use them to build a picture of you, and we do not try to identify you from them.
05The map, which is not ours
The Le Guépard page and the home page both show a Google map of the store.
That map is loaded directly from Google. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and can set its own cookies in your browser. This is the one piece of third party content on this site.
If you would rather it did not load, block third party content for this site in your browser. The street address is written out on the page so you can open it in the map app of your choosing.
06The contact form
The contact form runs entirely in your browser.
When you press send, nothing is posted to us. Your own email program opens with the message already written, and nothing leaves your device until you send it yourself.
So the form collects nothing. What we receive is the email you chose to send.
07What we hold when you contact us
- Your name, as you give it to us.
- Your email address.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it.
- Whatever you write in your message.
- Details of your order, if you buy something.
08Why we hold it
We use what you send to answer you, to make and deliver what you ordered, and to keep records of what we have sold.
We do not send marketing email. There is no mailing list to join.
09How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is still useful, and no longer than two years after we last heard from you.
We keep records of orders for as long as UAE tax and accounting rules require us to.
10Who else handles it
Mail to our address is routed by Cloudflare and delivered into a Google mailbox. Both handle your message on its way to us.
They process it on our behalf. They do not use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
11Where your information goes
Our hosting, our domain records and our email all run on servers outside the United Arab Emirates.
When you write to us, your message is handled on those servers.
12What you can ask us to do
- Ask what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, unless we are required to keep it for tax or legal reasons.
- Object to the way we are using it.
Write to salma@sstitches.ae. We will answer within thirty days.
13How we protect it
What you send sits in our email account, behind a password and two factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure. Email in particular is not private while it travels, so please do not send us anything you would not want read by someone else.
14Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
15Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
