This site is a catalogue. It shows what we make, what each bag is made from, and what it costs.

There is no shopping cart and no checkout. You cannot pay here, and nothing you do on this site creates a contract on its own.

We work to keep the site accurate. Photographs are taken in natural light, and colours can look different on your screen from how they look in your hand.

Ordering works by message. You email us, or you speak to us in person at Le Guépard, the store that carries our bags.

We confirm in writing what you are buying, what it costs, and when it will be ready. A contract exists only once we have confirmed your order in writing.

We may decline an order. If we do, we will tell you why and return anything you have paid.

Prices shown on this site are in UAE dirhams and include VAT where it applies.

We confirm the final price in writing before you pay. If a price shown here turns out to be wrong, we will tell you before taking any payment, and you are free to walk away.

How and when you pay is agreed with you at the time of order.

Every bag is crocheted or knotted by hand, so no two are identical.

Small differences in size, in stitch tension and in colour are normal. They are not faults. They are the mark of an object made by a person rather than a machine.

Cotton cord and wooden handles age with use. Colour can soften in strong light.

We agree delivery or collection with you when you order, including what it costs and how long it takes.

Our bags are also stocked at Le Guépard in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, where you can see and handle them before buying.

Responsibility for the goods passes to you once you receive them.

If a bag reaches you faulty, or it is not what we described, tell us as soon as you reasonably can. We will repair it, replace it or refund it.

We repair our own bags. Write to us and we will tell you what can be done and what it costs.

Because each bag is made in small numbers, we agree the return arrangement with you in writing at the time of order. Ask us before you buy if this matters to you.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection law of the United Arab Emirates.

If a term here conflicts with that law, the law applies.

The photographs, the text, the designs and the name Stitches for Hope belong to us.

You are welcome to share links to this site. Please do not copy our photographs or our designs for your own commercial use without asking first.

This site links to places we do not control, including Instagram and Google Maps.

We are not responsible for what those sites do or for what they show you.

We are responsible for loss you suffer because we broke these terms, or because we failed to take reasonable care.

We are not responsible for loss that we could not have foreseen, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity.

Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

The terms that apply to your order are the ones in force on the day we confirmed it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

The courts of Dubai deal with any dispute arising from them.
